폴란드 타트라 국립공원‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪12‬개의 호수

Everything was nice, but do expect chaos. We paid for emergency stay, which we already knew upfront about sleeping on the floor of the dining area. But as this is our 1st hike in Poland, we only realise that hiking boots are allowed in the hut, which is something new to us, by the time the dinner is off, no one clean the floor and we just have to secure a small spot under the table along with 60 other hiker in the dining area. There are only 2 shower rooms (shared among male and female) for the whole hut, do cater for a few hours of waiting in line if you can't skip a shower. I survived with just some wet wipes.

A steep climb from Morskie Oko and you are at the extraordinary Czarny Staw. Similarly to Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, the "black" here is from the shadows cast on the water by the mountains and the cyanobacteria that occurs here. Since it is below Rysy, you can see Rysy, but Kazalnica, Mięguszowiecki Szczyt Czarny and Wołowy Grzbiet - there is something to see.

Stunning beauty. This pond has been admired by Tatra tourists since the 19th century. The name "black" comes from the color of the water here - from the shadow cast by the mountain peaks and by the cyanobacteria covering the local boulders.

Very beautiful. I was there in winter and you could walk on the frozen lake. Incredible white landscape.

Morskie Oko is the largest lake in the High Tatras, it has an area of 34.93 ha and a maximum depth of 50.8 m. It lies at an altitude of 1395.4 m in the Dolina Rybiego Potok valley in Poland under Rysy. The circumference of the lake is 2613 m, the length is about 862 m and the width is 566 m. The volume of water is 9,935,000 m³. The lake is of glacial origin.

Przedni Staw Polski is a glacial lake situated at 1,668 meters above sea level in the eastern part of the Valley of Five Polish Ponds in the High Tatras, Poland. The lake's clear, greenish-yellow waters are fed by streams descending from the slopes of Miedziane and flow into Mały Staw, and eventually mixing in the Roztoka stream. The northern shore hosts the highest-altitude mountain hut in Poland, providing accommodations for hikers exploring the region. The surrounding landscape features rugged peaks and alpine meadows make it a popular destination for trekking and nature enthusiasts.

Ideally located at the Wielki Staw at the intersection of several paths. Well organized snack bar, inside and outside. Highly recommended for a break.
