The Redyk Autumn Festival in Szczawnica is one of the most colorful festivals in the Beskid-Pieniny region. It marks the moment when flocks of sheep return from the alpine pastures to their farms, and the town is filled with the sound of bells, shepherds' songs, and bands.

Dunajec Castle – a medieval stronghold located on the right bank of the Czorsztyn Reservoir in the village of Niedzica-Zamek, in the Polish Spisz or Zamagurie region (Pieniny Spiskie). The castle was most likely built in the early 14th century by Kokosz Berzeviczy, likely on the site of an earlier defensive structure. During the Middle Ages and later, the castle owners' endowment included estates located in Zamagurie.

Niedzica Castle, also known as Dunajec Castle, is a Gothic castle in Niedzica, Poland, on the Czorsztyn Reservoir. Built in the 14th century, it stands imposingly above the lake. The castle has a rich history and today offers visitors the opportunity to explore its architecture and the surrounding landscape. It is a popular tourist destination in the region.

From the dam wall of the Czorstynskie dam you have the best view of the castle and can take good photos.

Červený Kláštor is a picturesquely situated Carthusian and Camaldolese monastery in the Slovak part of Pieniny, right above the Dunajec River, opposite Sromowce Nižné. The building dates back to the 14th century and is famous for the figure of the monk Cyprian – a legendary herbalist and traveller. Today, there is a museum here, which allows you to learn about the life of the monks, old natural medicine and the history of the region. The monastery is located on a popular cycling route and is a great place to rest and explore. Access is possible both from the Polish side via a bicycle footbridge and from the Slovak side via an asphalt road.
