The path on the plateau of the Hoher Schneeberg is simply wonderful. There are numerous viewpoints and the atmosphere is just great. I also enjoyed the climb on narrow paths. There is also a viewing tower here that you can climb up. There is a restaurant and you can even rent bikes.

The Hohe Schneeberg is not only a climbing area, but also an Eldorado for bouldering. This sport is not allowed on the rocks of Saxon Switzerland, as artificial aids or chemical or mineral substances such as magnesia can cause damage to the sandstone. So hikers should not be surprised if they suddenly come across groups of young people who are lugging what appear to be folded mattresses up the mountain. These mats are folded up at the destination so that they do not injure themselves when jumping off the rock from a low height...
