The lido is located on the eastern shore. A large facility with all the necessary infrastructure: changing rooms, restaurants, and playgrounds. A beautiful spot, especially in the evenings with sunset over the water.

A sensation was discovered during the restoration of the high altar. A painting of the Last Supper, which had been lost for 150 years, was rediscovered in the rectory. After the restoration, the painting will be open to the public again in September 2023. What is special about it is that the disciples take the Last Supper lying down, according to Roman custom.

I was surprised to find such an impressive church in such a small place: an impressive Romanesque portal, the two 65-meter-high towers, a baroque pulpit and a carved wood altar from the Middle Ages were my personal highlights. The opening times are from May 15th to October 15th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Monday - Saturday). Climbing the tower is highly recommended: you have a great panoramic view. The entrance fee for the tower is 1€. The former tower keeper's apartment has been recreated in the towers, so you get a good insight into the life of the tower keeper.
