A 250-meter-long pump track with a jump line has been standing in the middle of the forest on the Zürichberg since 2010. In this now cool place, the French and Russians once fought each other on hot summer days in 1799. The fully rollable facility can be used by everyone from young to old. As with all pump tracks, the saddle should be lowered and the tires must be well pumped. The pump track has other playful elements such as a seesaw, bars of different widths for balancing, driving around stakes, etc. The unique location high above Zurich and under shady trees makes a visit in the summer a pleasure. Benches and a barbecue area are also available. A fountain is located on the corner of Orelliweg/Hinterbergstrasse. The pump track is now seen as the origin of the European pump track movement. The tracks are still relatively inorganic, which is something you hardly find in public facilities these days. For this reason, a visit to the pump track on the Züriberg is a must for every pump track fan.

Stöckenbachtobel (Elefantenbachtobel) In the middle of the stream there is an elephant made of concrete that spits water out of its trunk. This was created in 1898: the Elephant Brook was recorded 50 years earlier... Why the Elephant Brook is now called the Elephant Brook is not clear. There are many theories about this, but they often do not seem very credible. There are stories that Hannibal's pet animals had something to do with it or that the zookeepers took their elephants to the stream to drink... The Elephant in the Stream According to legend, the elephant in the Elephant Brook served as Hannibal's war elephant. When it reached this point, it was tired and stopped. It was released from its ordeal and turned into stone.

Great view, many steps. But be careful, dear masters - in my experience, DOGS are afraid of following the tower. You'd rather stay down.

The path is also used by many walkers. My experience was that a MTB Lüti (e.g. Timber Bell) is very useful and was well received. ✌🏻🚵🏻♂️🤘🏻

11월 13, 2020, Adlisberg Trail #650
The trail repeatedly crosses walking paths, which is indicated accordingly and has braking chicanes. The trail can be divided into two parts. At the beginning the trail is relatively flat and has smaller and larger doubles and two tables. This is also the longer of the two parts. In the second short part it gets steeper and more winding. In some places there are small fields of stones, but everything is designed so that it is rideable. The jumps in the first part can also be avoided and rolled over if you don't yet dare to jump them at the appropriate speed. Here you just have to keep your speed under control, as the large doubles really do need speed so that you can jump them properly.

The Elefantenbach is a beautiful hiking area and here with the Elefanten there are many families especially at weekends for barbecues and in the brook with the Elefanten.
