A more off-road alternative from Hulcout through Reynolds Wood. The segment avoids the potentially muddy bridleway between Holcot Wood and Reynolds Wood by diverting into Reynolds Wood. Some other part of the segment can be muddy but unless the ground has had a prolonged soaking you should be OK. Have traversed on an MTB and Gravel bike
