In addition to Hamburg's Stadtpark, Volkspark Altona is the second large green space in the city. There is always something going on here, families play on the large lawn, the smell of barbecues is in the air. The park and the forest are larger, the infrastructure is a little smaller. A relaxed place - unless there is a football game going on next door.

The rose garden in the Volkspark is a beautifully landscaped garden for strolling and enjoying nature.

The hut is easily accessible by gravel bike or mountain bike, but other cyclists can also reach it. From here, you have a view of Altona Volkspark and can take shelter from the rain. Anyone who wants to can take a break in the hut. Benches are available. The Volksparkstadion (Volkspark Stadium) is located in the immediate vicinity.

This square with the beautiful benches is on the northern edge of the Volkspark. As a tour guide, this is one of my resting places.
