It's hard to believe that it goes up and down hills in just 15 minutes from Düsseldorf city center. The Aaper Forest is in the northeast of Düsseldorf. This is where the transition to the Bergisches Land is. The fact that it goes up and down here is due to the ancient deposits of the Rhine that have piled up here.
