Finally (starting June 2025), the cycle path on the L 74 between Müngsten and Kohlfurth will be renovated by Straßen.NRW. Please note the temporary closure! https://www.strassen.nrw.de/de/meldung/l74-sanierung-des-radwegs-zwischen-muengsten-und-kohlfurth-startet-naechste-woche.html The signposted detour is very challenging (gradient).

A very nice alternative to the Wupperweg <6> on this section. It goes directly on the Wupper along a narrow path, which is partly interrupted by uprooted trees.

You should be a little more skilful on the bike. It's great fun to drive down here.
