Since June 2023, 16 stations with different levels of difficulty for balancing and climbing have been harmoniously integrated into the forest and invite you to try out the swing bridge, the rope slalom or the trust bridge, for example. The course can be accessed from both sides. Right next to the playground, the natural constructions made of wood and steel cables are waiting to be conquered. Wood chips provide fall protection, although the elements are only at a height of 60 to 80 centimeters. The playground can be reached in just a few steps from the parking lot on the B63, and the forest nature trail also starts here. Everything is free of charge, of course!

The Werl city forest impresses with its varied landscape and is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers. In addition to the hiking trails, the forest also features a new low ropes course and an enchanting playground that is ideal for families with children. You can also follow in the footsteps of history here, for example along the former British Victoria Barracks.
