Beautiful Lake. It's very large(!) And is really easily accessible, there is parking right by the edge of the lake, if you can not walk there. It's a fantastic spot for bird watching, too! There is a board that displays the birds you may be likely to see and when you'll see them. Please do not feed bread to the ducks & birds! (I know it was normal, I used to do it as a small child in the late 80s & 90s, but we know it's bad for them now)

Lovely spot to stop and take pictures, very satisfying to sit and watch the sailboats in the lake!

I can't help but stop to get a picture here every time I pass, I only wish the view lasted longer! Careful of the cars as they can sometimes come haring past!

Lovely views over the lake, there's a nice 14k loop around it, if its windy it's quite hard going in some places. Blue Bowl pub has a lovely fire going in the winter, it's a life saver.

Excellent stop for coffee and cake. Very popular with cyclists and cars! Busy on Sunday ms and summer evenings. Nice view over lake and public toilets even if you don’t use cafe.

Great pre-ride mates meeting up spot or mid ride refuel. They do have bike lock stands and the view across the lake are brill. Can get busy on weekends and holidays.

Stop here a lot, and thumbs up for the cake, the coffee and the fish and chips. Loads of room to sit outside if nice, with public loos on hand too.
