The Serpentine Bridge marks the border between Hyde Park to the east and Kensington Gardens to the west. Most think of the Serpentine as being on both sides of the bridge but it officially applied to only the eastern, Hyde Park section. The body of water to the west is the Long Water.

The running routes are partly on the very wide footpath, but partly also just next to the footpath so that walkers and joggers do not disturb each other.

Bring extra clothes if you are with kids. They are going to get wet here. it is allowed to wade in the fountain. Beautiful place to sit and relax. Be aware of the opening hours.

Lovely to walk on this long uninterrupted view so much for the senses to take in, including the London eye

Large landscape garden with a bit for everyone. In summer quite busy on the main greens, but with a bit of searching also quite spots can be found. Cycles are routed mostly around the core of the park.

This is actually the Lady Diana Memorial Fountain. The Isis is a sculpture of an oversized Ibis and can be found in close proximity

Inspired by the Egyptian goddess of nature, Isis was created by British sculptor Simon Gudgeon and donated by Halcyon Gallery in 2009 as the figurehead of an ambitious appeal which helped raise £2.2 million towards the Isis Education Centre, at the LookOut, Hyde Park. Isis enchants visitors of all ages.
