The Thieves' Tower, a round and delicate-looking tower, was once part of Bad Säckingen's city wall. In the 17th century, it was incorporated into the grounds of Schönau Castle. In 1864, Säckingen manufacturer Theodor Bally had the Thieves' Tower rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style. Since 2005, the romantic tower has been used for civil weddings and receptions.
