The Karl May House in Hohenstein-Ernstthal, the birthplace of the writer Karl May (1842–1912) at Karl-May-Straße 54, is a 17th-century cultural monument and has housed a museum about his life since 1985. Karl May described his childhood home as a three-story building with narrow windows, a courtyard, a garden, and memories of a lively childhood filled with family, rodents, and small earnings from renting out a laundry hamper. Former Ursprung Railway Station. Information: The station opened for passenger and baggage service on October 1, 1885. It had a 50-meter-long platform, two lampposts, and a simple disc signal. On November 23, 1910, a small station building was inaugurated, which is lovingly preserved and maintained by the local association. From 1912 to 1971, the station held the status of a railway station.

Grüna Church of the Holy Cross. Information: The church in Grüna is relatively new: it was only built in 1894. After the initial settlement, there was initially only one church serving several villages. The church was consecrated on March 4, 1894.

On the coal railway cycle path
