If you're not afraid of heights, the climb to the dome is well worth it. The view over the Danube Bend is phenomenal.

The museum in Komárno (Slovakia) is a fascinating place, especially for those interested in the turbulent history of the border between Slovakia and Hungary. Its official name is the Danube Region Museum.

I had to stop and admire this place, so steeped in history, because a fly had decided to take up residence in my right ear. Unfortunately, I had to let it off here.

Its very large dome, clearly visible coming from the West, makes it a point of reference for the view.
