If you are traveling with your dog, you should drive to the park in Schildesche. There are beautiful rivers where your four-legged friend can cool off.

The jetty with the viewing platform is very nicely laid out. On the one hand you can see the entire Obersee and then you have great views of the railway viaduct, an island with numerous birds and the Johannisbach, which runs parallel to the lake. It's just nice to linger here and let your gaze wander.
