The factory owner’s villa – the Biermann’sche Villa – built in 1896 in the Neo-Renaissance style is one of the most representative buildings of historicism in the Bitterfeld region. It combines style and decorative elements from different eras of architecture. The design of the north-west facade and the design of the decorative gables can be assigned to the Neo-Renaissance. In the rooms and in the stairwell there are further elements of the neo-Renaissance and neo-Gothic. Some interior walls are decorated with a fruit frieze, which dates back to the Art Nouveau era.
