The monastery is still inhabited by monks today. Appropriate clothing is required, i.e. shoulders and knees must be covered. However, there are free cloaks available for tourists at the entrance if you are dressed too lightly and have nothing with you. The monastery church is very magnificent. However, photography is not allowed.

It's a nice route, but more of a "racing bike highlight", i.e. most of the route is along the road. The valley is very beautiful and there is only moderate traffic, maybe there are alternatives for MTBs?
