In August 1927, the "Neupotz Military and Warrior Association" celebrated its 25th anniversary. At this event, the newly built warrior memorial chapel in the Neupotz cemetery was inaugurated. The chapel was "dedicated to the victims of the World War". This is what it says in the commemorative publication that the association published on the occasion of its anniversary.

The ship is great, you just can't see it properly because the jetty is fenced off. All information about the ship and dates for (joint) driving here: http://www.lusoriarhenana.de/ Apparently you can even get married there in a civil ceremony. A very spacious shelter with a barbecue area can be found here on the Fischerweg or forest nature trail. It was set up by the Palatinate Forest Association, Neupotz local group, and is dedicated to the long-serving member Willi Schwab.

This small chapel in the Neupotz cemetery is primarily dedicated to the dead of the two world wars. There are also two windows inside - one with a praying soldier and one with the bereaved mourning the death of a soldier.

In the winding arms of the Old Rhine, the Lusoria Rhenana, a faithful reconstruction of a Roman river warship from late antiquity, invites you on an adventurous excursion. Fun and excitement are guaranteed when you try your hand at the oars. In the 4th century AD, these ships, approximately 18 meters long, secured the borders of the Roman Empire on the Rhine and Danube, the so-called "Wet Limes," against the incursions of Germanic barbarian tribes. Built entirely of oak, the military vessels were propelled by 24 Roman legionaries or, alternatively, by a square sail. After scientific testing, the reconstructed Lusoria Rhenana is now embarking on a grand voyage as a historical ambassador. Visitors can now not only glimpse this masterpiece of Roman construction technology, but also experience Roman culture in the truest sense of the word as part of the crew.
