This beautiful section through the forest has very good asphalt and only a slight incline, making it a wonderful ride uphill. But the downhill ride is even better :-)

This quiet, well-paved section winds through a beautiful highland forest between Smědava Hut and the Souš Reservoir. Surrounded by ferns, young trees, and dense woodland. Nice ride with a few gentle climbs and fresh mountain air. Along the reservoir, you’ll get an occasional glimpse through the trees – especially nice in the late afternoon light. There is some traffic, but it’s usually light and not disruptive.

Flat, smooth licked street with no noteworthy climb to the pace. Welcome change to mountain cranking!

In summer there are hardly any shady spots for racing cyclists when they come from Desna. It only helps to crank up and through :)

At the Darretalsperre there is a small guest house, free parking spaces and occasional seating with a view of the wide lake. If you are in the area, you should take a look at it, wonderful nature!

The road was still closed in early April, arrived at the Wittighaus, we also knew why ... slush, ice! Approximately For 5 kilometers we battled our way through the adversities with the wheels fitted with thin tires. We were rewarded with a relaxed descent to Desna.
