The Swiss National Cycling Route 5 in and around Würenlos is on nicely asphalted roads or cycleways with several fountains to fill up your water bottles, there is also a well equipped bicycle and restaurant located near the railroad crossing in the center of the village.

This is an excellent well-kept cycleway which links the city of Baden with Zürich and parallels the Lägern Mountain the entire length. It goes through several villages with grocery stores, fountains, cafés and restaurants.

The climb from Nassenwil to the Wehntalerstrasse is a solid 8% climb with one small place of 10%. The climb is smooth and a separated from the traffic. The road can be busy during the rush hour.
