You can also get some food here on Saturday afternoons. It was the only bakery I could find on my drive between Bad Bevensen and Scharnebeck.

This is my second time at the Italian restaurant Ciao Ciao in Bleckede. The pizza and pasta are simply delicious, and the staff are extremely friendly. I highly recommend it if you suddenly or deliberately get hungry on a bike ride in Bleckede.

Back roads as you would wish for them! Excellent section that should definitely be taken into account when planning your route. Good asphalt, no cars and in a natural environment.

The scenic route. Not a shortcut, but still a very nice, almost car-free alternative to the parallel county road with an entertaining, winding route through idyllic countryside and villages. Highly recommended.

The tower of the church is one of the oldest in the Lüneburg district. An architectural monument of Lower Saxony importance: the tower of the St. Vitus Church in Barskamp. In some places the walls are more than two meters thick. Built stone by stone in the 10th century. The west side was repaired with red brick over the centuries because of falling boulders.
