When I still lived in Jettingen (2020) I was there often. Great swimming lake. Also beautiful to look at in winter when everything is frozen. Nice memory. :)

On January 27, 2023, the day of remembrance for the victims of National Socialism, the St. Joseph Congregation in Ursberg officially presented a new memorial site for the victims of the Dominikus Ringeisen factory. At the blessing of the memorial in the monastery garden with numerous guests, its patron, Bavaria's Minister of Health and Care Klaus Holetschek, said: "Keeping the memory alive and making the incomprehensible events of the past a little more visible is an important task. On the day of remembrance for the victims of National Socialism, we face the darkest chapter in German history and take responsibility for dealing appropriately with the historical events." It commemorates the 379 people with physical, mental and emotional disabilities who were malnourished, forcibly sterilized or transferred and murdered in the care institutions.
