Imposing rock blocks that the Mèbre river has shaped by eroding in the layers of molasses, a friable rock made of consolidated sands. In a distant time, this rock was used to build some important buildings, including Lausanne Cathedral. Over time, « Le Pierre à Quatre sous », so named because of its low value, was replaced by other building materials.

Update [January 2025 + April 2025] Log dump at the bottom of the trail, impossible to cross by bike (and difficult on foot) ⚠ Caution! [August 2024] Two trenches have been dug at the very end of the trail, the first just after the drop and the second just before reaching the path. Passable, but be careful depending on your speed.

The ford crossing is not obligatory (difficult to pass in case of heavy rain), there is a bridge on the left from the point of view in the photo, you have to push the bike for about ten meters.

Access to the shore, possibility of soaking your feet.

The Refuge du Talent is located on the banks of the Talent. At the hut you will find a fountain, benches and tables and barbecue areas. The hut can be rented from the municipality of Assens.

Steep downhil segment between the cantonal road (just by the parking place) and one of the many trails in the forest. I first did it uphill, it was difficult even with the assistance but you can do it.
