The men's pool in Seengen is a historic seaside resort with simple facilities on Lake Hallwil. Today, both men and women are allowed in the bathroom. The Seengener Herrenbadi is a wooden pool in Seengermoos, which is located on the north shore of Lake Hallwil. Access is free and gender segregation has been removed. The pool building has a terrace where you can sunbathe and from where you can access the lake via a staircase. A raft floats in front of the pool and there are changing facilities. Bathing in the men’s pool is at your own risk. There are no catering facilities, showers or toilets in this simple seaside resort. The latter two can be found in the nearby Frauenbadi Seengen. The easiest way to get to the men’s pool is with the Hallwilerseeschiff. The pier Seengen (lake) is about 100m to the west. From the bus stops "Seengen, Rotes Haus" and "Seengen, Brestenberg" it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the pool. There are no parking spaces directly at the pool.

I've hiked around the lake several times - I'll go along the eastern shore first. The idea is simple: If my injured knee doesn't keep up after half the distance, I'll just take the train for the rest of the way, and that's only available on the west bank.
