Furnishing Interior view to the east, 2020 The uniform baroque interior with the wooden barrel vault and the horseshoe galleries dates from the renovation in the 1770s. The high-quality wooden pulpit altar from 1778 with the risen Christ in the top and putti on the side is framed by Corinthian columns. Remains of the organ front in late rococo form are still there. In 1917 the choir received colored stained glass windows in the historicist style, which also fell victim to vandalism. The new stained glass windows created by Markus Lüpertz and inaugurated in 2013 are of international standing. The seven choir windows show, among other things: Martin Luther, Philipp Melanchthon and the Apostle Paul. Source https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Anna_und_St._Katharina_(G%C3%BCtz)

3월 17, 2024, St. Anna and St. Katharina Church, Gütz
History and architecture The Protestant village church was probably built on the site of a Slavic moated castle. Both the nave and the tower shaft are of Romanesque origin. A late Gothic recessed choir with a three-sided end is attached to the nave, a single-aisle plastered quarry stone building with an also unplastered west transverse tower. Comprehensive changes to the church took place between 1777 and 1779, when the nave was raised and given a barrel vault. A vestibule was added on the south side. In 1854 the tower was expanded; In 1886 it was increased to 38 meters and provided with a neo-Romanesque bell storey containing a bronze bell from 1488. The church, which was damaged by a storm in 1972 and abandoned in 1976, fell into disrepair due to vandalism, theft and structural neglect. In 1992 the tower was extensively repaired and renovated.[2] There are high-quality baroque grave steles and tombstones from the 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries in the churchyard. Story The Landsberg post mile column is a distance column made in 1730 in the shape of an obelisk. It was placed on the market square in Landsberg because the postal routes from Leipzig to Hamburg and Berlin crossed here. After it was dismantled, it was walled up in a stable building and rediscovered in 1954. The original coat of arms was brought to the museum. Since 1989, a replica of the post mile column has been back at its former location in Landsberg.[3] Source https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurs%C3%A4chsische_Postmeilens%C3%A4ule_Landsberg

St. Nicolai (Landsberg) St. Nicolai in Landsberg St. Nicolai is a listed Protestant church in the town of Landsberg in the Saale district in Saxony-Anhalt. It is listed as a monument in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 55192.[1] It belongs to the Landsberg parish area in the Halle-Saalkreis church district of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany and, since the Roman Catholic chapel in Hohenthurm Castle was profaned, has also been used as a place of worship for the current parish of St. Mauritius and St. Elisabeth Halle-Mitte as a place of worship for the Hohenthurm Curate used.[2] The church with the address An der Kirche is dedicated to St. Nicholas. With the west transverse tower and the east apse, it is a typical church building for the area. The church was built in the year 1200. During the later additions, sacristy and portal porch, and renovations, care was taken to ensure that the church maintained a uniform appearance. Noteworthy inside are both the pulpit with late Renaissance forms and the romantic organ by August Ferdinand Wäldner with II/13 on mechanical sliding chests, which has been completely preserved in its original form. The origins of the town church “St.Nicolai” in Landsberg go back to around the year 1200. The church consists of a nave with an apse and a west transverse tower. The plastered wooden barrel vault and the gallery date from the 16th century. The tower opens onto the nave in double arcades. The wooden pulpit, which shows pictures of the four evangelists between corner columns, dates from the second half of the 16th century. The similarly designed wooden baptismal frame is also dated to this time. (Dehio) Source: https://www.stadt-landsberg.de/de/artikelbedarf/gehenswuerdigkeiten-der-stadt-landsberg.html

9월 30, 2023, Doppelkapelle St. Crucis Landsberg
The double chapel of St. Crucis in Landsberg is the last remaining remnant of the castle that crowned the mountain above the country town. The castle was the seat of the Margraves of Landsberg, who were a branch of the Wettin family. Double chapels are typical of castles and monasteries of the Hohenstaufen period and served to spatially separate the church service between the rulers and the servants, although for what purpose is controversial. There are double chapels nearby in Neuenburg near Freyburg (Unstrut) or in Nienburg (Saale). The castle was demolished at the end of the Middle Ages and the mountain was gradually dismantled because of a quarry. The outstanding double chapel with its triple apse and a later added roof is a stop on the Romanesque Road. Unusual for the Halle area in the Middle Ages is the use of brick, which is more typical of the areas further east and northeast. Landsberg was already a post office in 1663. Postal roads led past the inns “Zum Goldenen Löwen”, “Zum Pelikan”, “Zum weissen Schwan” (later “Zu den drei Schwanen”) and the Ratskeller. The postal routes Leipzig-Magdeburg-Hamburg and Leipzig-Köthen-Potsdam-Berlin ran through Landsberg. The post office was in the “Zum Goldenen Löwen” inn. A copy of a Saxon distance column still adorns the Landsberg market square today. Elector August the Strong had given the order to erect road signs on all mobile routes in Saxony. Particularly magnificent obelisks were erected at the distance points that formed the beginning of the postal or country roads. The Landsberg distance column has stood on the market square since 1730. It was removed when Prussia took over Saxon territories in 1815. A copy has stood in its place since 1989. The original coat of arms part of the column from 1730 can be viewed in the Landsberg Museum. Source: https://www.stadt-landsberg.de/de/artikelbedarf/gehenswuerdigkeiten-der-stadt-landsberg.html

The war memorial in the shape of a cross located on the Kapellenberg was created by Paul Horn in 1926 to commemorate those who died in the First World War. The 7.5 meter high metal cross with the years 1914–1918 was erected on the Burgberg, today's Kapellenberg. In 1939 the cross was dismantled by the NSDAP city administration and moved to the city cemetery, where it remained for more than 60 years. After reunification, the cross was restored to its original location in 2000 on the initiative of citizens and the city administration. The memorial plaque belonging to the cross with the 68 names of those from Landsberg who died in the war is located in the town church of St. Nicolai.
