On the final stretch toward La Ginestra, the trail is a bit narrow and exposed in places. Here, too, I recommend warm weather to avoid icy sections where the trail is already not very generous.

The landscape is stunning, and is better enjoyed when the weather is nice. For those who are lazy, the lift will be open again by next year. Alpe Foppa is also closed during this time. The only toilet is the one at the construction site, or you can take the BIG one.

A detour here is definitely worth it. The very last part is up a flight of stairs on foot. A little further down is the beautiful cemetery.
