The Old Logging Way is a moderate off-road route leading through the unique landscape of the Cairngorms landscape. The route leads from Aviemore to Glenmore and the beautiful Loch Morlich and back to the smaller but no less beautiful Loch Eilein. Loch Morlich has very nice sandy beaches and a water sports centre, where you can hire kayaks or boats to explore the water. In summer, the lake is a great place for a break during your cycle tour. From Aviemore to Glenmore, the route is also suitable for cycle-experienced children. The off-road path is well-maintained and the distance is manageable even for the smaller ones. Th route from Loch Morlin to Loch Eilein is more adventurous and challenging. (Oudooractive)
