Peschiera Maraglio on Monte Isola. The largest and most popular place is Peschiera Maraglio on the southern tip of the island. Everything here is reminiscent of the most beautiful places in Italy, the medieval-looking buildings are arranged in a well-arranged manner up the mountainside. The clear water is very attractive, even if there is unfortunately no bathing area in the town. Shops and restaurants do their job brilliantly,

Considered the "capital" of the lake of the same name, Iseo has a lively center with elegant shops, restaurants and clubs. It is very popular, especially on weekends, with numerous tourists and visitors. The buildings in the main streets are of considerable historical value. Iseo is also a strategic point for reaching Monte Isola: in the port there is in fact the docking of the boat used for transporting passengers. In the spring and autumn you can't miss a walk along the lakeside and in summer a nice refreshing swim on the well-known beach. A stone's throw from the Torbiere del Sebino, Iseo also offers convenient access to the reserve (it is necessary to have a regular ticket at the vending machines for entry).

The pretty little town of Iseo is worth a visit, if only to eat an ice cream by the lake. There is also a fairly old center and some old buildings. You can also take the ferry there to reach the lake island, and there is a public beach to the south, before the big campsites.

Lake Iseo by E Bike, if it weren't for the badly marked cycle paths ... it would be a nice ride done in about 4 hours x about 75 Km.
