We arrive on the Island of Vassivière by a footbridge forbidden to cars. On the island, we discover the International Center for Art and Landscape and the old castle. In the gardens 63 works are scattered in the "sculpture wood".

Lake Vassivivère located in the Millevaches regional natural park in Limousin is the largest in the region, a true inland sea! On the developed banks there are several campsites and restaurants. The whole thing remains quite intimate.
