The Peace Cross Memorial in Marpingen was erected in 1995 to commemorate 50 years of peace in Europe. The sandstone cross by Egon Dewes is located on the Marienrundweg (Mary's Circular Trail) and offers a small place for reflection.

From Oberlinxweiler, this cycle path first runs above the B41 before turning away from it and heading towards Remmesweiler. The surface is mostly good, a bit bumpy in places - but asphalt.
