The promenade is a very nice place for all kinds of physical activity or to admire beautiful sunsets. Unfortunately, the section from the old city beach to the stairs next to the Selezjan sports facilities is quite narrow and is not very easy to navigate when there is heavy traffic. Additionally, the type of paving stones in this section is not conducive to cyclists or roller skaters.

Lake Ełckie is attractive to those traveling on land and on water. Although in the latter case there are restrictions for sailors in the form of a bridge or lack of connection with other lakes. Kayakers can raft down the Ełk River, which flows into and out of the lake. Pedestrians can walk along the promenade on either side of the lake. Cyclists can ride around the lake.
