A wonderful walk along the shores of Lake Mokre, one of the largest lakes here. There are five islands on it, which you can see from the path that goes here shaded by pine trees. Nature is beautiful!

The weir was built before the war to raise the water level in Lake Mokre, which was to serve as a reservoir for the needs of the Masurian canals that were being designed at the time. The canals were to connect the Masurian region with the Baltic Sea, but due to the change of borders after World War II, the project was not implemented. Currently, the weir blocks the kayak trail, and kayaks must be carried on a footbridge designated for this purpose.

This is one of the most beautiful and deepest Masurian lakes. An extremely picturesquely situated channel lake in the Mrągowo Lake District, which has five islands.
