Few people remember this old bridge, but it's worth taking a look at when cycling.

The Będkowska Valley is one of the longest (7-8 km) and most attractive valleys in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, located between Będkowice and Łączki Kobylańskie. Carved out of Jurassic limestone, it offers numerous rocks, caves and karst formations - ideal for climbers, speleologists and tourists. There are over 80 climbing rocks (including the famous Sokolica), several dozen caves and the natural Szum waterfall. The Brandysówka agritourism farm with a camping site operates in the valley, and the available network of trails allows you to easily combine sightseeing with neighboring valleys. For MTB cyclists, I recommend the off-road route, in places with a stony or steep character - a bike with good shock absorption will work best.

Element of the Krakow Fortress. Collision-free intersection of the road and the access road to the Pękowice fort. The structure prevented traffic jams that could have occurred in the fighting area. The viaduct was renovated a few years ago. Currently, the construction of the northern bypass of Krakow is underway. Everything indicates that after the works are completed, the viaduct will once again play its original role, this time for cyclists and partly pedestrians. The road towards Zielonki will lead upstream and the Main Jurassic Trail Kraków - Częstochowa will lead downstream.

Update: I visited this wonderful cave again today. I was the only visitor at 3 a.m. and the tour was still going on, which I thought was very nice. The entrance fee is 30 zł (as of May 2024)

the monastery is beautifully situated in Czerna near Krzeszowice. the last 300 meters to the monastery are quite a steep climb.

One of the longest caves in the Krakowsko-Czestochowska Jura. Aisle total length 975 meters. For years the cave was number 1 in terms of length. Based on recent discoveries in other Jura caves slipped down to 3rd place. Behind the Wierna Cave 1027 meters and Nietoperzowa - Zygmunta 1045 M.
