Lake Hańcza is the deepest lake in Poland, with a maximum depth of 108.5 meters. It is located in the Suwałki Region, surrounded by the picturesque hills and forests of the Suwałki Landscape Park. The lake boasts crystal-clear waters, attracting not only anglers and kayakers but also divers from across the country. Cyclists can enjoy attractive, undulating trails around the lake, offering beautiful views of the lake and numerous erratic boulders. This is also the starting point of the "Poglacial Gully of Lake Hańcza" educational trail—a hiking trail approximately 10 km long that leads from Stara Hańcza, with its historic manor house and park, along the eastern shore of Lake Hańcza, and then through the Czarna Hańcza River valley to Turtul. The trail features shelters, campfire areas, and educational information boards.

Lake Pogorzałek, located near Hańcza in the Suwałki Region, is a quiet, rarely visited body of water, ideal for a rest during a bike trip through this picturesque region. Surrounded by fields and forests, the lake attracts lovers of silence and wildlife, and its shores are natural and rather wild, without much tourist infrastructure. Access by bike is via local asphalt and dirt roads, which can be sandy, so it is worth having well-chosen tires. It is a good place for a short stop, photos and contact with nature away from popular trails.

Looking at the photo I would call this place a bridge rather than a footbridge, but that's just my subjective opinion. Nevertheless, the place by Lake Kluczysko is very nice, quiet and suitable for rest, but rather short because there is no "facility" for tourists, even TOI TOI.

a unique Old Believers church in Wodziłki

It's a pity that you can't see this sacred building inside and you can admire it from behind the fence. The molenna in Wodzilki was established in 1863. It did not have a bell tower, it was added in 1928, thanks to which the church took on the silhouette of an Orthodox temple similar to those built in the 17th century in Lithuania. The furnishings of the monastery are modest - a dozen or so icons, old books and crosses. In 1997 it was completely renovated. The beautiful color of the water of Lake Szurpiły makes a great impression. The lake consists of three clearly visible parts: the main plos, a shallow, narrow part called Jodel and a bay called Targowisko located behind the narrowing in the western part of the lake. Jodel Bay is surrounded by high hills. It is separated from the main part by a shallow area with an island with an area of 0.7 ha. The coastline is well developed and diversified.
