The Upper Gate in Waldshut-Tiengen is an impressive historic city gate dating back to the 13th century. From here, you have a magnificent view of the city and the Rhine. The gate is located directly on Kaiserstraße and is easily accessible by bike.

Who would have guessed such a beautiful spot would be hidden behind this water protection wall? Certainly not me! A bench and trash can, and a beautiful view of the Klingnau Reservoir. It's very popular with young people, but rarely free in nice weather.

Today I cycled from Rekingen for the first time, and I like this direction even better. I have the feeling the stream erosion has increased compared to my last trip. Caution is advised in some places. But it's always a pleasure!
