This is the final stretch of the Ponente seafront. It is the Tono bay, «'Ngònia» for the Milazzesi, who therefore still prefer to use the ancient Greek term ("corner") to indicate precisely this enchanting and wonderful corner of the city, where the beach, straight for kilometers, curves all of a sudden, bending with the rocky ridge and the cliffs in a wonderful breathtaking view, embellished by the blue and fishy sea of the Tono, already home to one of the largest tuna traps in Milazzo.

Stromboli and its neighboring islands Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Panarea, Filicudi and Alicudi belong to the archipelago of the Aeolian or Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea. The island belongs to the municipality of Lipari in the metropolitan city of Messina.
