Spring water flows here at around 9 – 12°C, rich in limestone. The fountain was particularly valuable for agricultural irrigation, as it exploited the proximity of the aquifer by bringing the water downstream via canals. In the past this technique allowed marcita cultivation, that is, flooding the fields. The practice is no longer widespread but the network of channels remains.

Quiet and beautiful park to visit by bike, there are some farmhouses and the area is rich in nature, I recommend it as a passing point in the area.

Small lake recovered from a former quarry and part of the Parco degli Aironi. The park extends over 45 hectares of greenery with about 14 thousand tree species and a remarkable variety of environments ranging from a large lake basin to dense woods and fenced areas for grazing animals such as deer, fallow deer and mouflon. In the park there is a picnic area and a refreshment bar.

At the edge of the town of Uboldo, on the border with Gerenzano, stands the sixteenth-century historical-artistic complex of Cascina del Soccorso. It consists of the former monastery and the small church of Santa Maria del Soccorso, the date of construction of which remains unknown.
