Beautiful panoramic view of the Lakes of Varese and Lake Maggiore

The Brizio lake is a small natural basin surrounded by nature. Near the banks, not far from the beach, there are benches perfect for resting during the walk.

Lake Ganna is also a wildlife reserve and is part of the municipality of Valganna. The area is very interesting to cycle and discover. The curiosity of the lake is that it has an underground tributary, the Margorabbia stream.

A 1032m mountain well known among hikers and MTBikers. It can be reached via a loose dirt road which requires a good bike such as a gravel or a touring/trekking bike well equipped with excellent dirt tyres, otherwise it is better to avoid it. On its side there is a former porphyry quarry, the woods and the view certainly repay the challenge of the climb.

The G.V. Astronomical Observatory Schiaparelli is located in the Campo dei Fiori Natural Park, at an altitude of 1,226 metres. After completing the climb by bike it is possible to climb about twenty steps: a spectacular panorama opens up over the lakes of the province of Varese and the Alps.
