On July 1, 2018, the arena received its current name in honor of Johan Cruyff. In 2012, the Ziggo Dome event hall with 17,000 seats was opened in the immediate vicinity and is mainly used for concerts.

The neo-Gothic cross church of St. Cosmas and Damianus was built according to the plans of the Utrecht architect Alfred Tepe. The inauguration took place in 1888. There are 3 altars in the church: high altar, Mary's altar, Joseph's altar. The Marian altar contains a statue of the Virgin Mary from the 15th century. The organ facade is from the 16th century. The altar ceiling is from the 17th century.

The cross-shaped Gothic village church is a Gothic-style church. The church dates mainly from the 15th and 16th centuries, but the history of the building goes back even further. The church building is on the list of national monuments. The building consists of a three-aisled pseudo-basilic nave and a choir without a porch. The tower is surrounded on three sides by the nave. What is striking is that the wooden barrel vault of the nave and transept is about one and a half meters higher than the choir vault. The floor of the nave is half a meter lower than that of the choir. The choir screen and pulpit from the 16th century are highlights of wood carving. An octagonal grave chapel from 1723 is attached to the back of the choir. Today's tower is still largely the Romanesque tower. However, in 1525 it was raised to its current height of 56 meters and the battlements at the top disappeared. In 1898 it was bricked up on three sides with machine-made bricks, losing much of its beauty. In 1672 the French set fire to many houses and the church. The church was badly damaged.
