The Conca Trail passes by there; the dam forms a lake that's a bird sanctuary. Incidentally, the Conca Trail runs through a nature reserve that runs from Misano Porto Verde, on the border with Cattolica, to Morciano and back again, meaning you can walk along either the right or left bank of the river (Conca). It's recommended for hiking, jogging, or biking.

The trail follows the Conca River to its mouth in the Adriatic Sea.

The work "Le Vele del Nocchiero" by the artist Dario Galante was presented in Portoverde in 2017. Born in Bogotá in 1962 to Italian parents, he now lives and works in Gradara, where he devotes himself to painting, preferring contemporary art and in particular material abstract art. The "Le Vele del Nocchiero" are a gift from the artist to the municipality of Portoverde in Misano Adriatico and are located in the frame of the new Piazza Colombo, which opens onto the tourist port. In this creation, Galante uses color on stylized and linear shapes to underline a feeling that arises with the dawn and then seems to rest at night, to then be reborn in the colors of a new day; a pair of colored sails for each phase of the day, from dawn to night. The project of relocation and enhancement of the old “Vele del Nocchiero” was born with the desire to give new life to “abandoned and soulless metal sheets” through the color and sensitivity that only an artist like Galante could convey with his brushstrokes of colored material. Portoverde Marina Resort is located in Misano Adriatico between Cattolica and Riccione , 15 minutes by car from Rimini airport. A few kilometers from the marina are the Monte San Bartolo nature reserve and the Croatian coasts: Lussinpiccolo (90 miles), Zara (120 miles), Split (190 miles). This stretch of the path runs alongside the Riviera Golf Club. It is very special to see the perfect green lawns of the golf club on one side, and the wild and disorderly nature of the Conca park on the other. At the beginning of spring the uncultivated meadows are filled with poppies and many colorful flowers!

From this point you can observe the artificial basin of Conca. It is an artificial lake formed following the construction of a dam on the river of the same name. Today it is a naturalistic oasis where you can admire many species of aquatic birds.
