The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Setefilla—also known as the Hermitage of Setefilla—is one of the most important places of devotion in the Lora del Río region. It is located in the mountains, very close to Setefilla Castle, an old Muslim fortress. The sanctuary is situated about 11–12 km from Lora del Río, on the road to La Puebla de los Infantes, next to the site of a former medieval village and under the watchful gaze of the castle that overlooks the entire valley.

The castle has a trapezoidal shape and has two gates and eight towers, three of which are semicircular. The main gate is located in the keep, to the south of the enclosure, while the secondary gate is on the opposite side. Both gates have been rebuilt with granite ashlar.

It is perfect for hiking or cycling. The recreational area has a picnic area and a kiosk that offers snacks, drinks and sandwiches (it also has toilets). In addition, there is a hanging forest for the entertainment of the little ones. At the entrance, you will also find an establishment where you can rent bicycles to take the Vía Verde route.
