The shelter at lake Björken is located at a lovely spot. The shelter itself is located at a shaded spot facing away from the water, but just north of the shelter is a small rocky headland with a nice fireplace and with a gorgeous view of the water. On the other side of the lake is a farm house with some horses grazing near the water. Other than that the lake seems to be surrounded by uninterrupted nature. In front of the shelter is another fireplace, and there is a supply of firewood as well as a cleaver to split the wood. There is a small outhouse near the shelter as well. The lake water is exceptionally clear looking, and it may be the clearest lake water I've seen in ages.

Sandvik offers a proper camping area, but you need to pay in order to stay here. The reception is only manned 30 minutes in the mornings on weekends. All other times it is self-serviced. It costs 100 SEK or 10 EURO per night, and you can either pay cash in a small post box or via the Swedish Swish app. At the camping there are hot showers and toilets with running water. There is a small playground as well. The main area closest to the road seems to be for RVs, but further back by the playground is an open grass area that is likely intended for tents. There is a recycling center just across the street from the camping. From the camping area there is a trail that connects directly to the beach.

Here is the Brevik parking with a large grass area where you are allowed to camp. There is an outhouse as well as access to drinking water, a fireplace with firewood and some picnic tables. The parking spot is also a prime location for RVs and campervans, so you should expect there to be activity in the evenings, at least during high season. Just opposite the road is a shallow pond. A few hundred meters along the road is Nyviks Brygga with a small beach and additional fireplaces.

Historic mill by a small lake. There is a parking spot right in front and a picnic table upstairs by the lake. From here you can hike upstream, following the path that the mill workers would walk every day to adjust the flow of water to the mill. The building itself is also very interesting!

Really nice sand beach with a large grass area and nearby parking. It has a small playground to the side. Camping is not allowed on the beach. There is a toilet with running water, trash cans and some picnic tables. There is also a fireplace and firewood is provided.

You can camp here ⛺️, but the beach is only accessible on foot from Sundvägen Camping (there is also a parking space). On the beach itself there is a barbecue, a dry toilet and drinking water. The beach is nice and big, you can swim to a small floating island or the nearby island.
