Sortedams Sø is one of the "Lakes" in central Copenhagen, known for its wide, gravel paths that are a staple for the city's joggers and commuters. Its name, meaning "Black Pond Lake," reflects its history as a former part of the city's fortification system, now serving as a popular urban space for locals and tourists to enjoy the outdoors.

It's quite pleasant to walk along the water here, however, in good weather during the summer it can be quite difficult to get through with all the tourists and locals eager to swim.

A nearly 3-km green ribbon stretching between light-rail tracks and quiet residential streets, linking Damhussoen with Borups Allé. Below the surface, the small Grøndalså stream winds its way through the landscape. The park is cared for jointly by the municipalities of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg.

A residential district where many streets are named after birds, such as Solsortvej and Drosselvej. When this area north of Fasanvej was first developed, it was still surrounded by open countryside—hence the street names that echo its natural past.

In this part of the beautiful Valby Park you can find small gardens with different themes like a dahlia garden, an islamic garden or a shrub garden. Very interesting and colorful!

A recreational area by the water, ideal for walking and fishing. There are several fire pits, and you can sit by the water or swim. There are also free-roaming sheep (depending on the season).
