Villa Schwob, also called Villa Turque, is a house in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, designed by the renowned architect Le Corbusier. It was commissioned by the watchmaker Anatole Schwob in 1912 and completed in 1917.

A man-sized "pocket watch", dismantled into five parts and placed one behind the other. A dial with hands can be seen on two of the parts. Of course, the hands show the correct current time. After all, we are in Switzerland!

Musée des beaux-arts, La Chaux-de-Fonds The Museum of Fine Arts of La Chaux-de-Fonds was founded on April 8, 1864 by the Society of Friends of the Arts of Neuchâtel, department of La Chaux-de-Fonds, now the "Society of Friends of the Museum of Fine Arts"1. The history of this association merges with that of the museum, which became an institution of the town in 1985. Since then, it has been managed by a commission set up by the municipal council. Until the inauguration of the current Art Deco building in 1926, the collection was presented permanently in a room in the industrial school from 1877 and in the attic of the Hôtel des Postes in the city from 1910. Long focused on Swiss art, in the late 1940s the museum opened up to international contemporary art under the patronage of curator Paul Seylaz with exhibitions of abstract art, particularly French and Italian art. The collection developed in parallel and contemporary art now occupies an important place in the museum's acquisitions.1. In 1982 Catherine Renaud succeeded Paul Seylaz as director of the museum. Theater and Hall of Music, La Chaux-de-Fonds Theater and Music Hall - The theater was built in 1836-37 (a good 12 years before the first hospital!) and was declared a monument of national importance. In 2003 it was completely restored. The Louis XV style room with theatrical masks makes it a real gem and a rarity. Next to Bellinzona, it is the only theater in Switzerland. The entrance hall shares the theater with the music hall built in 1952: behind the yellow sandstone facade is the concert hall with 1,000 seats, whose wood paneling ensures optimal acoustics - it is among the best in Europe. Fontaine monumentale, La Chaux-de-Fonds Monumental fountain - The fountain was built in 1888 to commemorate the introduction of drinking water in La Chaux-de-Fonds (1,000m). The pumped-up water is brought 20 km far through an ingenious system of tunnels from springs in the Areuse Gorges (627m). Ancien collège industriel, La Chaux-de-Fonds Old technical college - you leave the tower and go under the building complex to the left of the café "Le Forum". From the upper part of the street you can see the former Collège industriel. The building was built in 1876 and was the largest in the town at the time. Temple-Allemand, La Chaux-de-Fonds German Church - It was built as the second Protestant church in La Chaux-de-Fonds and is a reminder of the importance of the German-speaking Swiss who immigrated in the 19th century (up to a third of the population). Today, cultural events are held in the neo-Gothic nave, which was built in 1853 and given a tower in 1881.
