The village church of Gnevkow was built on a small hill in the 15th century. Components of the presumably late Gothic predecessor building were used in its construction. The east gable of the hall church is made of brick and is divided into panels. The west gable, which was renovated in the 18th century, is plain. Due to a lack of maintenance, a leaky roof caused moisture damage to the roof and ceiling structure of the church. Severe cracks appeared in the masonry. After the foundation was renovated in 1999, the masonry was repaired and the roof renovated in 2001. The German Foundation for Monument Protection helped with financial support.
