Very beautiful hike to the top of the waterfall. You cannot see much of it from there if you’re not leaving the trail, but the view is amazing.

The path to the waterfall is very beautiful. But you can't see much of the waterfall itself from above. If you don't want to leave the path, you won't see much of it.

The guarded refuge of Vaktotavare is a beautiful hut located on the edge of Lake Akkajaure. You will find all the amenities to relax there. Accessible by road, the refuge also becomes a great option for a day trip. Do not hesitate to contact the refuge for the latest updates on the public transport that circulates there.

Well-marked hiking trail from the parking lot up to an altitude of 750 meters with great views of the waterfalls and the national park. Unfortunately, there was a snow storm in June. 7 kilometers there and back that are really worthwhile for the great views.

With this rushing river one is thankful that there is a bridge here. From here it is not far to Gisuris Fjällstuga.

To enter the Padjelanta National Park / Padjelantaleden you pass this river. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to pass this sight in bright sunshine. But be careful: you should definitely not try to swim there or anything like that.
