The food here is run at kindergarten level, and paying guests are treated merely as annoying supplicants. Despite the inflated prices, the selection and quality of the food are well below average. But this isn't really a problem, because most of the time there's nothing edible anyway. Depending on the mood, the kitchen is only open until 6, 7, or 8 on certain days (although the website states that the kitchen is open until 9:00 p.m.), and increasingly, not at all. Thus, stupid excuses are usually the only thing you'll reliably get served there. Even at low occupancy, the staff is unable to keep track of everything. Even if only half the tables are occupied, the always unfriendly group already seems extremely overwhelmed. You should also avoid addressing the so-called "service staff" or otherwise drawing attention to yourself. This is considered a personal attack and, as such, will be reported to the enemy customer relatively quickly, i.e. After about 15 minutes of intense sulking. Factual criticism or mere questions are also perceived as an insult, which is why they are always met with rude and rude reactions, hours of discussion, and ultimately, total refusal. Most attempts at communication, however, remain in vain. These gentlemen actually ignore them with a routine otherwise only seen among hardware store employees. Conclusion: The crew is clearly neither willing nor able to provide the offered service even remotely professionally and is therefore completely out of place in the hospitality industry.

The former arm of the Rhine was placed under nature protection in the 1980s - there are many beautiful paths and places to rest here. Only in summer are you easily eaten by mosquitoes...

It's wonderful to watch the highland cattle. Here on the meadow path, which is also a nature trail, you can watch the shaggy animals. There is also a viewing platform here.

Great location on one of the most beautiful lakes in the area. Exclusive summer vegetarian cuisine. A few dishes and drinks are also available to take away. The main bathing beach is right next to it. Occasionally events take place.

I'm happy about every viewing platform, but I don't know why there are only "standing parties" on this one... especially when you're there for bird watching, it sometimes takes a little longer - there would be a small seat not wrong (there are also on other platforms and observation huts)

Quite a beautiful nature reserve with one or two idyllic spots where you can relax and recharge your batteries. Unfortunately, benches for a short rest are only available on the bank side of the weekend cottages (where there are many small streets). Unfortunately we couldn't find any other ones.

There are not many accessible accesses to the lake. In the Kistnerweiher nature reserve, bathing and swimming is prohibited by ordinance, but the lake is very quiet and idyllic and a breather with a view of the pond recharges the inner battery 😊

Nice opportunity to watch the herds of cattle.
