The Boker Canal flows for a good 30 kilometers from Schloß Neuhaus to Lippstadt. Between Schloß Neuhaus and Delbrück, a cycle path runs almost entirely along the canal. The Boker-Heide-Kanal (or Boker Canal for short) is one of the most important technical cultural monuments in Westphalia. It was completed in 1853 after a construction period of around five years.
