Zeillern Castle was built on the ruins of a medieval moated castle, first mentioned in 1052 in connection with a "Chuno von Cidelaren." In 1605, Wolf Friedrich Freiherr von Tattenbach acquired the property, remodeled it in the Renaissance style, and gave it its characteristic appearance, which remains to this day. Outside of regular opening hours, you can open the door and shop using your credit card.
